We offer assistance and advice to students and staff on Research and Methodology at University College Maastricht (UCM).

Up next: Workshops! The Methods Lab is organising workshops in May that will first be open for registration for students in Research Methods 2. The free remaining spaces can be booked by anyone at UCM!

What we do

In addition to one-on-one advice on your research project, we organize workshops on specific methods and techniques as well as guest lectures on interesting research projects done by researchers at Maastricht University and beyond.

  • Individual advice

    We offer individual advice sessions, mostly geared towards student research projects (Capstone, MaRBLe, ARI, ThinkTank, etc.).

  • Guest lectures

    On occasion the Methods Lab invites guest speakers who talk about their research with a special emphasis on methodology.

  • Workshops

    The Methods Lab periodically organizes workshops on specific methodological approaches and techniques.
